Since establishing the Foundation in 2008, Nalders has donated £15,000 to local good causes.
This is by direct contribution by the firm and from fundraising activities such as themed evenings, sponsored sporting events and a horse show.
Last year alone Nalders held two highly successful themed nights – a Titanic evening and a James Bond night. These two events raised over £5000. The sponsored ‘Shakethon’ that two partners undertook over eight days involved riding motorbikes from lands End to John O’Groats – and back. It raised a remarkable £3550.
All funds raised were donated to the Precious Lives Appeal by the Children’s Hospice South West. This is to support the building of a new Cornish hospice for young people from Cornwall and Plymouth.
In addition to donations to organisations such as the Children’s Hospice South West Precious Lives Appeal, Nalders support community events such as the Fal River Festival and the Camborne Music Festival each year. They are also sponsors of the West Cornwall Sunday Football League and recognise many unsung heroes in the league with their "Behind the Scenes" trophies.
This year Nalders LLP is pleased to announce their sponsorship of Active 8. The firm will pay for fun and challenging adventure weekends throughout the year for young people with a physical disability.
Active 8 is a small Cornish charity, providing two years of fun and challenging experiences for young people with a physical disability. Ten young people from all over Cornwall meet for twelve residential weekends a year, based at an Outdoor Education Centre. To find out more please visit www.active8online.org

Nalders Rescue West Cornwall Sunday Football League
Nalders Solicitors is saving the day for the West Cornwall Sunday Football League (WCSFL) by agreeing to continue their sponsorship at a point when the League faces financial difficulties.
As the League faces its 2010/11 season, the club coffers were dry due to the runaway success of the Referee Initiative, supported by Nalders.
The Referee Initiative was created to improve players’ behaviour on the pitch via incentivizing good behaviour by waiving the £55 affiliation fees. In fact the scheme was so successful and players behaved so well last season that no affiliation fees have now been paid by clubs staying in the League, leaving the organisation in a financial fix for the coming season.
So, Nalders’ £1000 sponsorship comes at just the right time for the League.
